Passage Context

11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHope

Jesus never wanted us to give up being morally different, being a force for good, or showing love to those around us. The reason we are in the world is to keep our culture from getting worse and to add grace and mercy to a world where everyone is out for themselves.

Prayer

Dear holy and mighty LORD, please help me not to become like the people around me. Instead, dear Father, please use the fact that I'm a Christian to bless other people and help Your Kingdom grow. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
