Devotional Reflection

PeaceGratitudeHope

Paul might be about to die, but he knows that his life and future are safe in the hands of the Lord. The Holy Spirit will give him the strength he needs to be what he needs to be when he is persecuted and going through hard times. The Spirit will also work to save him. Either he will be saved from prison and death so that he can help other people, or he will be saved to be with the Lord he loves. In either case, he waits and hopes for rescue.

Prayer

O LORD, God Almighty, please give me the strength to always believe that You will save me. Also, dear Father, some of my dearest friends are fighting for their lives because of health problems. Please save them, whether it's through Your healing that makes them healthy again or through Your grace that ensures their future is with You and Your victorious Son. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
