4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Some people are blessings. It doesn't matter if we talk to them over the phone, receive a nice email, get a letter in the mail, or see them in person. We thank God for them every time we think about them. So let's do what Paul did and let them know that they give us reasons to thank God.
