Devotional Reflection

GriefShame

Do you remember one of the Bible's very first questions? "Where is Abel, your brother?" Cain answered, "Am I my brother's keeper?" Paul's answer is a clear yes that can't be argued with. We must think about what's best for everyone, not just ourselves.

Prayer

Father, show me how to cherish my family the way You do. I frequently lose track of those who are suffering nearby because I become preoccupied with my own problems and world, which causes me to become distracted. In order for You to minister through me, please help me become more conscious of and sensitive to those needs. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer

Father, show me how You love Your family. I get so wrapped up in my own world and my own problems that I don't notice when people around me are hurting. Help me become more aware of and sensitive to their needs so that You can work through me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
