Devotional Reflection

GratitudeHopeCompassion

There are a variety of "fronts" we need to maintain when we carry wickedness in our hearts if we don't want people to find out the real us. But if justice is our objective, we'll make an honest effort to achieve it. When we make a mistake, we'll be open about it, beg for pardon, and move on. We won't present a false front. Even if we have flaws, we are aware that God is still working on us.

Prayer

Thank you, Almighty God, for the many times you have forgiven me. I apologize for the times I've attempted to hide my immorality from you and from other people. I desire to live a morally pure life that honors you in all that I say and do, and in how I treat other people. Please extend this grace to me in greater and greater measure each day. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
