King James Version
What does Proverbs 3:4 mean? →Passage Context
Devotional Reflection
Character is shown by how much love and loyalty we exhibit in our everyday lives. We can't just pretend to be good at these things. When we have power over someone but still choose to treat them with kindness and care, we are showing merciful love. Being faithful means being a person of truth who is honest and reliable in both words and actions. These good traits need to be a part of our daily lives and a part of who we are. If they are, other people will notice, and God will be pleased.
Prayer
Holy God, you are faithful and kind, full of mercy and love that doesn't change. I praise you for being a good example of strength and kindness, holiness and love, and loyalty. Carve this character into my heart as I yield to your will and give your Spirit's power to change my life a chance. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
