King James Version
What does Proverbs 3:9 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
God's honor comes before everything else. We don't give Him the least or what's left over. He gave us Jesus, His Son, who was the best, most valuable, and most perfect gift He had. God has given us something that can't be put into words. How could we give Him anything less than our best, first, and most precious?
Prayer
God, you are kind and a good Father. Thank you for all the good things you have given me. Please take my heart as a gift that I freely give to you. Make it kinder and more generous, just like you. I promise to do my best for you and the work you do in the world. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
