Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeCompassionAwe

Christians are called to stand up for the rights of the weak, speak up for those who don't have a voice, and protect the lives of those who are vulnerable. This all-encompassing call is a great reminder that the blessings, rights, wealth, and power we may have do not belong to us alone. They are gifts from God that we should use to help those who cannot speak for themselves, defend themselves, or protect themselves.

Prayer

Father, give Your people and me a strong desire to stand up for those who are vulnerable to being abused, left alone, or attacked. Please use us, and especially me, Father, to be a force for good in the time and place where I live and among the people I know. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
