Devotional Reflection
I get to decide where I get my information from. But with this freedom and privilege comes a duty. God wants to bless me, but He can't do so until my heart is willing to know and do what He wants.
Prayer
Amazing Creator, just as you created this gorgeous world and knit me together in my mother's womb, I humbly ask that you also instill in me a desire to discover your truth and an understanding of how to live it. I am aware that I have your Holy Spirit within me to guide me on this journey, but I am so eager to win your favor and return the favor after all the ways you have blessed me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Delight! Do you find joy in God's things? What holy things about God the Father in heaven are on your mind all day? Why not try with me to get more of God's Word into your head and heart by memorizing and praying over the Bible?
Prayer
Father in heaven, I know that I don't always make the most of my time to think. You are holy and righteous in everything You do. I often let my mind wander to places I shouldn't think about. I sometimes pay too much attention to things that don't matter. I want my mind and heart to be more in tune with You, Your Word, Your will, and Your way. Give me real wisdom that comes from Your Spirit so I can see, know, understand, and think about the things that are most important to You. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
I get to decide where I get my information from. But with this freedom and privilege comes a duty. God wants to bless me, but He can't do so until my heart is happy to know and do what He wants.
Prayer
Wondrous Creator, just as You fashioned such a beautiful planet and put me together in my mother's womb, I also pray that You develop in me a desire to know Your truth and an understanding of how to live that truth. I know Your Holy Spirit is in me to help me on this path, but I want so much to please You and bless You because of all the ways You have blessed me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
