Devotional Reflection
People talk about forever love in cheap books, but this kind of love can only be found in God. We get to that source of eternal and divine love through the Holy Spirit, who helps us both receive and share it (Romans 5:5). The Lord wants us to teach the people who come after us about His love and righteous ways. We do this by remembering what the Lord has promised us and by doing what the Lord has asked us to do, so that people in the future can see and know how great and kind our God is.
Prayer
Thank you, O God of glory and grace, for your covenants, promises, and love. May I live so that others, especially those who are born after me in my family, will understand that your love is unending. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Forever love is discussed in dime-store books, yet this type of love can only be found in God. We access that wellspring of everlasting and divine love via the Holy Spirit, who enables us to both receive and share it (Romans 5:5). The Lord desires us to share His love and righteousness with future generations. We accomplish this by remembering what the Lord has promised us and following what the Lord has ordered us to do so that future generations will see and know the magnificence and grace of our beautiful God.
Prayer
God of glory and grace, thank you for keeping your promises, keeping your covenants, and loving us. May I live in a way that shows others, especially my family members who come after me, that your love lasts forever. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
