Devotional Reflection

GratitudeHopeAwe

From the point of view of grace and being freed from keeping the law as a way to be righteous and justified, this is a great prayer. We can see the chaos and violence that happen when there are no rules of law in a society by just looking around us. God's law gave us many great things, and it can still give us good things if we let it. But Jesus, in whom all of God's promises are kept, is the greatest blessing of the Old Testament Law.

Prayer

Thank you, Holy Father, for your righteousness. When you judge the earth, I am confident that you will administer justice and put an end to all injustice. This gives me comfort because I know that you view me as your righteous child because of Jesus. My prayer for today is that I may live in a way that honors you and exemplifies the virtues displayed by your Son while He was on the earth. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
