King James Version
What does Psalm 119:7 mean? โPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
Praise is a big part of what makes us who we are. So, in order for us to worship God, our hearts and lives must be filled with a strong desire to know and follow His will. Even though we will never be perfect at this, grace covers us as we try to live for His glory. But that grace should never be used as an excuse for being spiritually lazy or weak on purpose.
Prayer
Even though I will never match your strength or majesty, holy God, I want to be more like you in character. As I seek your will in your Scriptures and as I strive to be obedient in my daily life, open my eyes and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, enlighten me. Please pardon my sin and give me a heart that is pure and holy and completely dedicated to doing your will. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Holy God, I want to be more like You in personality, even though I'll never be as strong or powerful as You. Open my eyes and show me Your will through Your Scriptures and the Holy Spirit as I try to follow Your rules in my daily life. Forgive me for my sins and make me a clean and holy person who wants to do Your will with all of my heart. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
