Devotional Reflection
It's all up to you!" That is the dominant thinking among top achievers in our world. But this is incorrect. If the Lord does not reward our efforts to develop and be a part of something wonderful, they will be in vain. They may bloom for a time as a result of our tireless labor, but if the ideas and building of great things are not from the Lord, they will perish.
Prayer
Almighty God and Eternal Father, pardon me for attempting to make things happen by my own efforts and hard labor. You can accomplish far more to enhance my work for your kingdom than all my stress and fretfulness could possibly achieve. Please take the lead in every element of my life; defeat me in attempts not in line with your will, and please boost those efforts which will bring you honor and others closer to your grace. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
