Devotional Reflection
Most people have, at some point, thrown a fit at fate and sworn at the night. These are all about on par with one another. But to assert that there is no God is quite another matter. God must remain in heaven for us to have grace, hope, and a future. It is absurd to disregard the fact that the Creator is the one responsible for the world's wonder, order, variety, beauty, strength, and patterns. We cannot ignore, deny, or dismiss Him because He is much more significant than anything He has created.
Prayer
O Lord God Almighty, Creator and Sustainer, I am grateful that You are not only present but also with me right now. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Most of us have raised an angry fist to fate and cursed the night at some point. Each of these is about as good as the other. But to say there is no God is a whole different thing. To take God away from heaven is to take away our grace, hope, and future. How silly it is to forget that the Creator is the one who made a world full of wonder, order, variety, beauty, power, and patterns. He is much more important than what He has made, so we can't ignore, deny, or dismiss Him.
Prayer
Thank you for being with me today, Lord God Almighty, the Creator and Sustainer. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
