Psalm 18:30 Β· KJV
"As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him."
King James Version
What does Psalm 18:30 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
God is a shield, and we can trust what He says. Not only is His way right, but it also gives life. However, we have to take refuge in Him if we want His perfect word and perfect way to be a blessing and if we want His presence to protect us. We must choose to put our loyalty, trust, and dependence on Him, and we must choose to live by His perfect word.
Prayer
I put my soul and future in the hands of the God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are my bulwark and my strength. Please keep the Evil One away from me, my family, and your church. As we serve you this summer and strive to honor your will by adhering to your Word, kindly keep us morally upright, physically safe, and spiritually alive. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
