Psalm 19:14 Ā· KJV
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
King James Version
What does Psalm 19:14 mean? āPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
God helps us in so many ways. He gives us the strength and hope we need to live. He is the One who saved us from sin and death. We worship God because we are thankful for what He has done, we know who He is, and we are excited to see what He will do next. But worship can't be put in a box and confined only to church or during quiet times. Every part of life is involved in worship. That's why it's so important for us to make sure that what we say and how we act are in line with God's will and work. Then, private worship, which can be done alone or with other Christians, becomes the time when our hearts and lives are tuned up so that our public worship and the way we live our lives in the world will play God's song to a world that hasn't heard it yet.
Prayer
I want today to be a day of worship and adoration for you, Holy and Almighty God. May my actions, as well as my thoughts and words, serve to glorify you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
