Devotional Reflection
God is the LORD. We can't take for granted how holy and powerful He is. But the amazing truth about God's grace is that He loves us and wants us to be close to Him and find safety in Him. He is the one who thundered at Mount Sinai and spoke the universe into existence. We can be happy about being in awe. With holy fear, we can praise. We can feel safe because we don't put our trust in what is temporary, weak, or made of flesh. We worship the LORD.
Prayer
Father, please pardon me for the times I have used inappropriate language and reckless behavior to devalue Your grace. Only You are God. Only You are deserving of praise. Thank You for being not only holy and powerful, but also for being close by and giving me a haven of safety. I appreciate You being God, Father! In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
