King James Version
What does Psalm 23:5 mean? โPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
Even though the righteous person's enemy may do well for a while, God will show the righteous person His love and favor. Paul told his friends in Philippi that their prayers and the work of the Holy Spirit would get him out of jail, either to serve them or to go be with God (Phil. 1:19-21). In either case, God's righteous people will be given a feast, a place of honor, and a royal welcome that will show their opponents that they were righteous.
Prayer
Father, King of all time, I'm sure you'll throw a party for me and treat me like one of your royal children. Thank you for keeping your word. Thank you for letting me know that I will be vindicated in the end. Thank you for putting so much of your love and grace into my life. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
