Passage Context

2O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Devotional Reflection

JoyPeaceGratitudeHope

Life can be really perplexing. As we choose the principles that will guide our lives, there are many options available to us. So how can we discover the ideal way to live according to God's will? We pray to God for guidance. We put our faith in Him. He is our only hope. Why not ask Him to lead us and impart His truth to us? Why not anticipate that He will communicate His will to us? He will reveal His will if our hearts are receptive to hearing His truth and if we are pursuing His way.

Prayer

Oh great God, who alone is the source of all wisdom, aid me in better understanding Your will. I want to do all I can to make You happy. I want everyone to be aware of my loyalty to You, not just through my words but also by the manner in which I conduct myself. In Jesus' name, I ask it. Amen.
