Deliverance! One of the most important ideas in the Bible is that God is a deliverer who keeps His promises and gives grace, mercy, and justice to everyone. Let this promise move you to live righteously and to call out to God when you are in trouble. One way to do this is to read through the Psalms on a regular basis. These wise words from long ago can give you many places to pray from. Whether you use the Psalms or not, you should still talk to God about your praises, questions, and hurts. Let His presence feel real to you, and let Him into your heart.

Prayer

Father, we need You to save our world. In Your majesty and power, please stop the evil people from carrying out their plans. In Your kindness and mercy, please help Your people who are going through hard times. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
