Devotional Reflection
How much faith do you have in God? Even better, how much of yourself have you given to God? We have been thinking about the blessings the Lord has promised us for the last few days. But in His wisdom, God has made it so that we have to trust Him and ask Him for many of these blessings to come true. As long as we hold on to the steering wheel of our lives, it's hard to let God take us in the direction of His blessings and His will. I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "If God is your co-pilot, you should switch seats." When we give our lives to the Lord, we offer them to Him so that we can do His work, receive His blessings, and know His presence. So, why don't you just do it?
Prayer
Holy, righteous, and all-powerful God, you own everything except what's in people's hearts. You have decided that these will only be yours if we give them to you voluntarily and lovingly. Dear Father, I want to give everything to you: my heart, my life, my future, my skills, my money, my family, etc. I want you to use me for your own good. I believe that you love me and want to bless me along with giving me your grace and salvation. I love you. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
