Devotional Reflection
I've always been a music fan. Songs still help me get to the part of me that's most open to God. They help me tell Him how much I love and praise Him. As the psalmist says, His song is with me at night, especially on nights when I can't sleep.
Prayer
Thank you, God of my life, for music and song. I appreciate you providing me with so many reasons to sing joyfully. I am grateful that when I sing, you hear my heart as well as my words and the song's melody. I long to join the heavenly chorus around your throne and to hear you sing, dear Father. Fill my life with your song until then. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Thank you, God of my life, for music and song. Thank you for giving me so much to be happy about and to sing about. Thank you for hearing what's in my heart when I sing, not just the words and tune. Dear Father, I can't wait for the day when I can hear you sing and join the angels singing around your throne. Fill my life with your song until then. In the name of Jesus, I ask. Amen.
