Devotional Reflection
I can't help but think of what James, Jesus' brother, said: "Pure religion, undefiled before God the Father, is this: to keep oneself unspotted from the world and to help orphans and widows in their distress." In His ministry, Jesus made it clear that this was what the Father wanted. Now, it's up to us to keep going!
Prayer
Father, may my actions, my compassion, and my ministry serve as a reflection of Your love and concern for those who need Your care, protection, and love. Give me eyes that can see this need more clearly and a heart that can respond more confidently so that I can better show how much You love them. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Father, I want my life, my kindness, and my ministry to show how much You care about people who need care, protection, and love. Give me clearer eyes to see this need and a stronger heart to act on it so that Your love can be shown through me. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
