Devotional Reflection
In a world with organized crime, gangs, and sexual predators, we have a lot of work to do if we want to change the violent parts of modern culture. Maybe we should start by getting on our knees before the Father and asking Him to help us change our violent world.
Prayer
Loving Lord and Father of all people, please forgive us for anything we have done to accept or condone the violence that is common in many parts of the world today. Please stop the harmful and unfriendly trend toward violence. Transform the hearts of violent people and lead them to peace. May your people show how to live in a way that is productive, kind, and non-violent. Please give strength and safety to everyone who is in danger because of their faith. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
