Devotional Reflection
When did you last come up with a song? When did you last make up a song to praise God? Afraid you won't be able to do it? Think it won't be any good? Don't worry, the only person who cares about what you sing is your Abba Father, who wants to hear your heart sing no matter how good your voice or melody is. He wants you to be happy with Him. So open your heart and raise your voice to praise your God.
Prayer
God Almighty, You are holy and kind. I praise You for how beautiful the sun is when it comes up and goes down. I thank You for giving grace. Even though Your people have been attacked many times, You have miraculously kept them safe. I thank You for sending Jesus, the Messiah and Lord, who is the son of Abraham and the son of David. I'm glad You brought Him back from the dead. I'm glad You said You'd send Him back for Your children. I thank You for what You've done for me. I give You thanks, LORD, and I'm happy to be Your child. In the name of Jesus, I give thanks. Amen.
