Devotional Reflection
We waste our time when we stop feeling the need to live for God. God has a plan for His church, our globe, and every one of us. We can never develop a heart of knowledge without God's gift of "spiritual arithmetic"—numbering our days accurately. So where can we find such a gift? Without reservation, ask for it (James 1:5-7)! Our lives and the way we live them are greatly impacted by our trust in the Lord for guidance. God offers us a heart of wisdom rather than discouragement!
Prayer
Only you, Holy and Almighty God, King of the Ages, are fully wise, just, and kind. Please assist me in understanding where I am in life and the part you want me to play in it. I want to live my life in a way that honors you. In Jesus' name, I ask. Amen.
