Devotional Reflection
On a dark night, look up at the stars and you'll see how wonderful they are. Think about how many different amazing things there are on earth. Look at your own life and you'll see where God's hand has been at work (Rom. 8:28). Jesus said that our Father is still at work (John 5:17). Yes, it makes us happy to know we're not the only ones working on our own lives (Psalm 139; Phil. 2:13). Knowing that the LORD, the one who made the world, is at work in us and for us gives us a deep sense of joy. So it makes sense that singing praise comes so easily to us.
Prayer
Dear God in heaven, I praise You because Your power and glory are shown in the beauty of what You made. I'm also grateful for how You've helped me change and grow. Please keep working on me to change me. Make me into what You want. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
