King James Version
What does Psalm 94:18 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
We are amazed by how far God's reach is, how powerful He is, and how magnificent His majesty is. God's personal closeness to us is another fact that may seem hard to believe. He chooses to know us and be a part of the good and bad things that happen to us every day. How will today or tomorrow be different now that you know He is there and will be with you? What does it matter if you know He'll catch you if you trip or that He'll be there to calm you down if your nerves start to get the best of you?
Prayer
Please hear my heart, loving God, who is everywhere and always close by. I'm in awe of your proximity to and presence within me. I value the comfort you give me when I feel under attack, the strength you give me when I'm weak, the courage you give me when I'm being attacked, and the hope you give me when everything seems lost. These are the gifts of your presence that I treasure. I wouldn't know where to go or why I'm here if you weren't here. I appreciate your knowing me. One day, I hope to know you as well as you know me now. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer
Please listen to my heart, loving God, who is everywhere and always close. I can't believe how close you are to me and how much you are a part of me. The comfort you give me when I'm under attack, the strength you give me when I'm weak, the courage you give me when I'm under siege, and the hope you give me when it seems like there's no hope are all gifts that I value very much. I wouldn't know where to go or why I'm here without you. I'm glad you know who I am. I hope to know you one day as well as you know me now. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
