Devotional Reflection

LoveGratitudeHopeAwe

Don't you like the phrase "the splendor of His holiness" and wish you could see that splendor for yourself? It makes me think of when Isaiah met God in Isaiah 6 or when John saw Jesus in Revelation 1. In the Old Testament, God's essence was called His glory and His holiness. The only way to describe God's essence is that He is magnificent! The only thing we can do is worship God and say, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is full of His glory," like the angels in Isaiah 6 and the 24 elders around the throne in Revelation. His glory fills the whole world.

Prayer

You are a great, noble God who is bigger than anything I can understand or think of. I respect and praise You for Your power, grace, majesty, and kindness. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
