Devotional Reflection
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. "Maranatha! Jesus, please come!" Yes, all knees will bend. But they already do for us. We look forward to the day when everyone will bow down to our King. Until then, let's do everything we can to make sure that as many people as possible bow down to Jesus on that day with joy and not with fear.
Prayer
Father, I'm grateful that You saved me. May my eagerness for the day of Jesus' triumph inspire me to serve as Your peacemaker so that others will be prepared for and joyfully anticipate that day. Give me the ability to see those who need to encounter Jesus right now. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
As it is in heaven, may your kingdom come and your will be done on earth. Maranatha! Jesus, come quickly! All knees will indeed bow. However, they already do so for us. We eagerly anticipate the day when everyone will submit to our King. Let's do all we can until that time to make sure that on that day as many people as possible bow down before Jesus with delight and not with dread.
Prayer
Father, I'm grateful that You saved me. May my eagerness for the day of Jesus' victory move me to be Your agent of reconciliation so that others are ready for that day and will welcome it with joy. Give me the ability to see the people who need Jesus today. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
