Devotional Reflection
It's so easy to judge other people. We don't know how hard it is for them. We don't know what's going on with them. We don't know their hearts. When we judge others, we put up a wall between ourselves and them. When we talk about other people, we often give the impression that we are harsh. When we refuse to see them as anything but bad, we put up a barrier, or a stumbling block, that can make them lose hope and fall.
Prayer
Father, I ask You to change the way I treat others to match the grace You have for them to be saved. I want to have more patience with other people's mistakes, just like You do with mine. Forgive me for not being more of an encouragement to those who are weak and struggling, and show me how I can help them. Forgive me for the times I've gotten in people's way, and open my heart so I can share Your blessings with them. Please let me be a way for You to show grace. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
