Passage Context

30Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

Devotional Reflection

God holds our lives, our futures, and our goals. We can't escape this reality, which is why we exist. When we're together, it's also what makes us joyful and makes us feel better. Consider this for a moment: we didn't meet by coincidence, and neither did the ministry we perform for each other. They are God's gifts that allow us to partake in His goodness and delight.

Prayer

Holy Father, I appreciate Your direct involvement in my life. Thank You for how Your Spirit leads, how Your Word instructs, and how more seasoned Christians impart knowledge to us. All of these things have improved my ability to serve Your kingdom and given my life greater purpose. No matter where I am, please give me a better sense of grace and pleasure when I am around Christians. I am aware that these precious individuals of Your family are not just chance encounters. Instead, they serve as a reminder that by being present, You're hoping to bless me and give Your children a respite. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
