Passage Context

8And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

Devotional Reflection

In Romans 3, Paul makes it clear that none of us can approach God's level of perfection and purity. What is the plan? What can we do to escape the grip of sin? God's answer is Jesus. I believe that is also the answer! Christ came to save us from sin (Mark 10:45), offering atonement for our sins while we were still sinners (Romans 5:6-11). Prayer

God, who is holy and fair, I admit to You that I have done wrong things in my life. Still, by faith, I believe that what Jesus did for me by dying, being buried, and rising again gave me life and made me holy in Your eyes. Because of Your amazing grace, please bless me and give me the power to live as Your victorious child. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
