King James Version
What does Romans 3:9 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
In Romans 3, Paul makes it clear that none of us can approach God's level of perfection and purity. What is the plan? What can we do to escape the grip of sin? God's answer is Jesus. I believe that is also the answer! Christ came to save us from sin (Mark 10:45), offering atonement for our sins while we were still sinners (Romans 5:6-11). Jesus became our bridge back to God because we could not earn our way to God through our goodness. Here is the glorious truth:
Prayer
God, who is holy and fair, I admit to You that I have done wrong things in my life. Still, by faith, I believe that what Jesus did for me by dying, being buried, and rising again gave me life and made me holy in Your eyes. Because of Your amazing grace, please bless me and give me the power to live as Your victorious child. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
