King James Version
What does Romans 7:6 mean? βPassage Context
Devotional Reflection
We are not bound by the law! Does that mean there are no rules and no order? Not even close! No, because the grace that set us free also gave us God's Holy Spirit. He can give us the strength to do things we couldn't do by ourselves. He can help us pray to the Father with confidence and boldness even when we are weak. With His help, God's grace and the Spirit of Christ tie us together as a group of responsible friends. God bless the "new way.
Prayer
Father, thank you for buying me back and freeing me from the rules of the law. I'm also grateful that you put your Spirit in my heart to help me be more than I could ever be if I tried to follow the law. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
