Devotional Reflection
At last, I'm free! At last, I'm free! Thank God the Most High, we are finally free! When we become Christians, we are no longer bound by the law. Through the Holy Spirit, God now lives in us. The Spirit shows us what God wants and then helps us do it. With the help of the Spirit, we can do what no law could make us do: live up to God's righteous standards. We are set free from the power of the law, sin, and death so that we can be like God and be with God.
Prayer
Father, I appreciate all the gifts You have given me. I want to express my gratitude to You today, especially for freeing me from the law and endowing me with Your Spirit. I commit to living my life for You today, so please fill me with Your Spirit and give me strength. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Jesus sets us free from the most important thing that was holding us back: our fear of God's judgment. We are free from the law, which puts people in bondage and leads to their deaths. The Spirit sets us free so that we can not only fulfill what the law required but also be saved from the death penalty that the law demanded. We are free to be God's children through Jesus and the power of His Spirit... forever!
Prayer
Abba Father, I appreciate Your saving grace. I am aware that You purchased it for me at a very high cost. Please pardon me for not allowing that deliverance to fill my heart with unwavering joy. So that I can experience the freedom and joy of Your salvation not just at the end of my days but in the present moments, lead me by the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
Praise God! By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are freed from keeping the law and are able to do God's will in our lives.
Prayer
Dear Father, I appreciate Your kindness and compassion. God Almighty, praise You for making such a great sacrifice to secure my forgiveness. Glory and honor to You, O Sovereign LORD, for giving me the gift of the Holy Spirit, who will direct and lead me in accordance with Your desire and change me into a person who reflects Your character. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
The law of the Spirit and life is based on what Jesus the Messiah, our great liberator, did for us. The law of sin and death no longer controls us. Because Jesus rose from the dead, death no longer has power over us. Sin has no power over us because Jesus' death on the cross paid off our debt to sin. We stand in front of God as His righteous children who are finally free because of what our powerful Lord Jesus Christ has done. In the future, there is no condemnation for us, only glory!
Prayer
Thank you, All-Powerful God, for Your plan to free me from sin and death by paying my ransom. Thank you for the confidence I have in You because of the way Jesus showed me Your unmatched grace. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
