JOSHUA 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
The Bible often encourages us not to be scared.
It is absurd to be terrified when God is with you and for you, if you take a moment to consider this.
Humans have a tendency to forget. Perhaps this is the reason God commanded us to "Fear Not!"
Here are only a few instances.
LUKE 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
ISAIAH 41:13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
SAY THIS: I will not be scared because I have faith that God will be on my side.
