1 CORINTHIANS 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
The Body of Christ, which consists of all Christians, is made up of each individual believer.
Just imagine how crazy you would be if you allowed your hand to attack another part of your body. As members of the Body of Christ, attacking other members is equally insane.
ROMANS 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Different callings and tasks are carried out by other members.
Nevertheless, even though you might not agree with them or comprehend their motivations, your job is not to oppose them. Let the Head of the Body handle that, and follow His instructions when He gives them to YOU.
Christ's body has Jesus as its head. All that we do must be coordinated by Him, and He is both responsible for it and able to do it.
All of a body's components are required for the body to function properly, even though each member serves a different purpose.
The other body members suffer when you disobey Jesus, the Body's Head.
If every body part did as it pleased instead of following your brain's commands, imagine how difficult it would be for you to accomplish anything.
SAY THIS: I am a part of the Body of Christ.
