Everyone Is A Minister

Published: January 11, 2024 · Reviewed: March 24, 2024

2 CORINTHIANS 3:5-6 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The role of a pastor is to lead people to God.

You don't need anyone's appointment, ordination, or credentials to become a pastor.

A minister is someone who serves both God and others by leading them to God for assistance.

It is not necessary to hold a title like pastor, bishop, or priest in order to be a minister.

It is incorrect to believe that all of us cannot or shouldn't serve in ministry, even while it is true that God does call some people to special places of service.

A minister is someone who lends a helping hand. That is possible.

SAY THIS: God gave me the capacity to minister and to assist others.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We acknowledge our insufficiency and recognize that our strength comes from You alone. You have called us to be ministers of Your word, not bound by titles, but by the spirit that gives life. Guide us to serve You and others, leading them to Your divine assistance. Help us to understand that we all have a role in Your ministry. Empower us, Lord, to lend a helping hand and to use the capacity You have given us to minister and assist others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
