Faith Delights God

Published: January 12, 2024 · Reviewed: March 27, 2024

HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What the Bible says does not always line up with our experience.

For instance, Philippians 4:19 in the Bible promises that God will meet all of your needs, yet it might not appear like this is the case.

When our experience conflicts with the Bible, we have the choice of continuing to believe what God has said or giving up.

It is possible for circumstances to change. God, however, will never retract anything He has said. Things will change if we stick to our belief in God's Word.

It can be quite challenging to believe what the Bible teaches when the facts conflict. There is a strong temptation to withdraw and disregard what God told.

But what higher goal could you possibly have in life than to delight God?

To delight other people, many people toil and suffer. How much more important a goal it is to delight God!

Don't give up your faith in God! You will be blessed!

SAY THIS: I will believe God's Word no matter what, because faith delights God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We come before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty. We believe in Your existence and Your rewards for those who diligently seek You. Even when our experiences seem to contradict Your Word, we choose faith over doubt. We trust in Your promise to meet all our needs, even when it seems otherwise. We resist the temptation to disregard Your Word, for our ultimate goal is to delight You. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to hold onto Your promises, for we know that faith delights You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
