You Have Abraham's Blessings

GALATIANS 3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

According to Galatians, Christ redeemed us so that we might receive the blessing of Abraham.

What were the blessings Abraham received?

GENESIS 24:1 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

GENESIS 13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

GENESIS 25:11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

GENESIS 26:12-13 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

Romans claims that Abraham was promised the world for his descendants, of which we who believe in Christ Jesus are.

ROMANS 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

It shouldn't be difficult to accept that Jesus Christ is the rightful heir to the entire world. And keep in mind that we are co-heirs with Christ, according to Romans 8:17.

GALATIANS 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Abraham only blessed those who had faith; everyone else was not blessed. Abraham's belief in God's Word led to blessings for him. Additionally, we must receive these blessings by faith. So, if we don't think they're for us, we won't get them.

SAY THIS: All the blessings Abraham received through Christ Jesus are mine.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank you for the redemption through Christ Jesus, who became a curse for us to fulfill the promise of the Spirit through faith. We are grateful for the blessings of Abraham, bestowed upon us as co-heirs with Christ. We acknowledge that these blessings are received through faith, just as Abraham believed in Your Word. Help us to always remember that all the blessings Abraham received through Christ Jesus are ours. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and let us walk in the abundance of Your blessings. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
