Anticipate God's Favor

Published: January 24, 2024 · Reviewed: February 3, 2024

PSALM 5:12 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Jesus is also your righteousness if He is your Lord. Thus, you are entitled to this favor because you are virtuous in Christ.

Favor is the gift of God that makes people respect and like you.

Why should you anticipate favor?

God is your Father, after all. He cherishes you.

And trust is rewarded by Him. When you live by faith, you look forward to blessings.

PROVERBS 16:7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Some people frequently complain about how poorly they are treated and how their circumstances are unfavorable.

Should we anticipate this?

After all, Jesus promised that we would receive what we said in Mark 11:23.

Why not start by asserting that God is favoring your life?

SAY THIS: I anticipate God's favor in my life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I put my trust in You and rejoice in Your love. I am grateful for the righteousness bestowed upon me through Jesus Christ. I anticipate Your favor, knowing that You are my Father who cherishes me. Guide my ways to please You, Lord, and bring peace even with my enemies. Help me to speak words of faith, expecting Your blessings. I declare Your favor in my life, trusting in Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.
