1 JOHN 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
COLOSSIANS 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
JOHN 2:12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
For many people, themselves is the most difficult person to forgive.
If God can accept us, then we must forgive ourselves as well. We put ourselves above God when we refuse to forgive ourselves.
If God can decide that we are forgiveable but we insist that we are too terrible to be forgiven, then we are assuming we learn more than God.
Should you hold yourself to a higher standard than God? He forgives. Why can't you let yourself go?
In order to prevent you from receiving God's blessing, the devil wants you to continue to focus on your mistakes and your past.
For a better future, God wants you to trust His Word and concentrate on His victory.
Which one will you decide to follow?
SAY THIS: I accept myself because God has forgiven me.
