God wants you to become more like Jesus (Romans 8:29).
This does not imply that you will be the same height or have the same color hair. It implies to having the same personality, therefore you will behave similarly.
Jesus sacrificed the greatest privileges imaginable for the benefit of you and submitted to God all the way to the point of death. Jesus was prepared to suffer for your benefit.
God's highest ideal is that you be prepared to endure suffering if necessary in order to assist others.
We're not supposed to go through what Jesus went through as our Deliverer in our place. We shouldn't go through what Jesus went through in our place.
Therefore, God does not intend for anyone to suffer from sin, illness, or poverty.
However, there is a type of suffering that God approves of and demands of us—suffering that allows us to aid others. In a world where not all people are kind, it means walking in love.
1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
We are surrounded by self-centered individuals who God loves but who continue to be in the dark and practice sin.
God desires for everyone in the world to know the truth and receive salvation. In order to reach them with God's love, God wants us to love them to the point where we are prepared, like Jesus was, to put up with inconvenience and discomfort.
The core of Christianity is this kind of suffering. It is a manifestation of God's love. It is the kind of love that is prepared to make a sacrifice in order to assist others.
SAY THIS:
I am ready to suffer, if necessary, to help those whom God loves, because of God's great love.
