God Loves You Still

ROMANS 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You might have once thought that God cared for you.

You may not comprehend how God could possible still love you given what you have done, nevertheless, in light of what you have done.

He does, though!

ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God loves you even though you were disobedient sinners.

And He has not shifted His position!

We must realize that God loves us not because we deserve it but rather because it is who He is.

1 JOHN 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Why is God so fond of you?

He is a caring person, after all.

Additionally, He made you.

We frequently judge others—as well as ourselves—by the results of their work.

But that is not how God thinks, that is how the world thinks.

I've definitely been like that.

It was simpler for me to believe that I was a decent person who God would love when I did good deeds.

But it was simple to feel worthless when I wasn't making much progress.

Even though God gave us the capacity to carry out good deeds, He still loves us unconditionally.

God loves us not for what we accomplish for Him, but for who we are—His creation, His offspring, created in His image.

God values us for who we are, not for what we produce, which is how the world views us.

Not because of what you can accomplish for God, but rather because of who you are, you are valued and precious to Him.

You were made by Him.

God made you in His image, so He is the only one who can truly value you.

God sees your potential and your destiny, whereas you may only be able to see your current circumstances.

Like a pimp or a slave owner, a decent father doesn't support his children based on what they do for him; instead, he does so because he loves them as his children.

A good father will never withhold his love or the necessities for his children until they perform flawlessly and produce abundantly, even though he may utilize incentives to encourage and train his children in appropriate behavior.

Jesus said that we ought to think of God as a loving father.

God is bringing up a family, and He won't abandon you if you make mistakes.

Jesus, as your Savior, has taken on the duty of forming you into the kind of person God intended—someone whom everyone would adore—by teaching, training, and maturing you.

You can always count on God.

God determined and made you to be a magnificent creature in His image.

God will not reject you just because you haven't reached your full potential yet.

You are still being formed into the person you were meant to be by God, who is a patient God.

You have undoubtedly erred—after all, we all have.

But you don't have to be flawless to be loved by God.

Your poor choices may still have consequences, but God abandoning on you won't be one of them.

SAY THIS: Regardless of what I have done or not done, God still loves me.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We thank You for Your unfailing love, a love that sees beyond our flaws and mistakes. We are grateful that nothing can separate us from Your love, not our past, present, or future. We acknowledge that we are sinners, yet You loved us so much that Christ died for us. Help us to understand the depth of Your love and to see ourselves as You see us - Your creation, made in Your image. Teach us to love as You love, without conditions or expectations. Remind us daily that we are valued and precious in Your sight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
