JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
How many individuals who quote John 3:16 actually believe it?
God doesn't alter. If He had loved the world's inhabitants in the before, He still does.
However, a lot of individuals believe that God despises and is angry with sinners.
ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Sinners do not make God angry. Even now, he cares about them enough to sacrifice his life for them.
Sinners are not to be resented by us either.
They are controlled and tricked by sin. Only Jesus is capable of delivering them, which is what they need.
God obviously doesn't want people to continue living in sin.
A sinner's closest buddy is none other than Jesus. They must be aware of that.
They need to hear the truth from someone.
They believe that because they are sinners and imperfect, Jesus despises them. (The devil gave them that falsehood previously.)
Let's be open with them!
2 CORINTHIANS 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
People's sins are not held against them by God. People must be aware of that.
They will love Jesus when they do.
SAY THIS: Because Jesus loves sinners, I also love them. I care about them enough to assure them that Jesus can help.
