1 JOHN 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
God is brightness, pure light; he is devoid of all darkness.
God is the perfect love. He is someone who has never hurt anyone else out of selfishness, self-centeredness, or self-serving behavior and never will.
1 JOHN 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
God is the ideal illustration of love. Thus, 1 Corinthians 13 gives an account of how God is.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-7 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Simply picture a perfect God; that is who God is. Imagine having a leader who is faultless in every manner. a person who never acts selfishly and always acts in everyone's best interests.
DEUTERONOMY 32:3 Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
God and His love are the source of everything wonderful in our lives.
Due of mankind's rejection of God and His loving ways, neither our lives nor this world are perfect at this time. We turned away from God after believing a lie. The only way things will return to perfection is if we all come back to God.
We are not yet perfect, but God is. Because of this, we should put our faith in Him and do as He says, rather than in our own skills and understanding.
SAY THIS: There is nothing inherently flawed about God. He is perfect
