JOSHUA 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
There are verses in the Bible that associate giving generously to receiving a generous financial reward.
But being generous isn't enough for riches!
Being prosperous in God's kingdom involves more than just being a generous contributor (as opposed to being a selfish, self-centered person).
As His children, we ought to emulate God's giving nature. When we are not constrained by anxiety and doubt, Christians will naturally give since it reflects our genuine character.
Thus, I have nothing against contributing. The Bible does assert that charity has an impact on wealth. However, it is not the sole element and certainly not the most crucial.
Faith is the main component of wealth. Faith is what you trust, thus it governs how you think, feel, and behave.
Obedience to God is the second essential component of success and is equally significant. We must adhere to God's directives.
Giving cannot compensate for or erase disobedience. You are misguided if you hesitate to act upon something that God has commanded you to accomplish because you believe that all you need to do is make an offering and everything will turn out well.
It's possible that your mother, who loves you dearly, will send you her great recipe for a dish along with all the supplies and cooking gear. But you can't expect it to turn out nicely if you don't follow the recipe directions, no matter how much your mother loves you or how much it cost her to give you with everything you needed to prepare it.
Under the New Covenant, we are not required to do well in order to earn God's favor. Rather, we accept it as a gift as a result of what Jesus accomplished for us. However, if we reject God's guidance, we still cannot anticipate a happy outcome in our lives.
We also need to be aware of the many levels of faith we are capable of exercising. You can walk in trust as a child of God and experience financial assistance without having to provide anything in return.
The counterargument could be made that without the sowing of a seed, nothing on earth happens. That may be the case, but Jesus, our Head and co-heir, has already sown His entire crop, and we are now beneficiaries of His favor. Jesus' deeds are credited to us instead!
In order to receive a crop of provision, we can still decide to choose to release our faith through an act of giving. However, we still need to utter words of trust over our gift when we do that. For your giving to be effective, you must also include your faith into it.
We all want to be fortunate and successful. The reality that our kind and omnipotent Father God has already benefited us via Christ Jesus is part of the Good News.
Giving, then, ought to be a response to God's love rather than something we do to earn God's favor.
Due of their inherent selfishness, many people do require guidance and encouragement. They are paralyzed by fear, which keeps them from freely giving out of the love of God that is in their hearts. As a result, the Lord has instructed many preachers to discuss donating because it is necessary.
However, since we have already received blessings via Christ, we do not need to give in order to merit God's favor. We are able to contribute freely and joyfully because we are aware that our Father God is an endless source of provision. As the Lord directs us, we may assist every worthwhile endeavor.
JOHN 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
SAY THIS: Lord, kindly assist me in comprehending every component of the success that pleases You.
