Ourselves often judge God by how we or the people we usually interact with behave. Sadly, honesty is hard to come by these days. We're used to people telling us lies.
But God is unique. He is not a liar.
TITUS 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
SAY THIS: My God does not lie. He will carry out His promise, as He stated.
