Do you truly desire what you have earned?
Perhaps you ought to first determine what you truly deserve.
PSALM 103:8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
I'm grateful that I don't receive what I deserve.
People who are demanding what they rightfully deserve are actually in the dark.
God is the judge, and He says that because of our collective shortcomings, none of us are deserving of good.
The good news is that God loves us so much that He does not treat us unfairly.
The rewards that Jesus merits will in fact be given to believers!
Jesus accepted the punishment that was due to us.
And now, because of His deep love, He freely gives us what He deserves as a token of His affection.
How could you ignore someone like that?
SAY THIS: Thank you, Lord, for not giving me what I deserve but instead giving me what you deserve because you are kind and merciful.
